Greetings;

A colleague here hopes to find the spelling and verification of a small
mountain in western Turkey. The name he has given is

Galesus   or
Gallesus   or
Halesus (found on a 19th C French map)

The location he has given for this mountain, one of three there, is adjacent to
the ancient city of Colophon; 15-20 miles north of Ephesus; 8 miles from the
Agean sea.

Appreciatively,
JK Herro
