Subject: New domain, new releases
Dear colleagues:
The Koninklijke Bibliotheek, Royal Library, National library of the Netherlands, has gotten a new domain-name: "www.kb.nl". The old domain-name "www.konbib.nl" will be phased out within 5 years. Up till that moment a user will not remark that the request is rerouted when keying in the old name.
Up till now we had the
<http://www.kb.nl/kb/skd/atlantes/lijst/atlantes.htm> List of "Dutch"; atlases up to 1880 and (partial) facsimiles thereof (186 Kb),
available on the Internet. This index comprised the first 5 volumes + supplements of Koeman's plus the first part of Van der Krogt's "Atlantes Neerlandici" up till 1880 with additions and facsimiles added.
We have seen fit to add the 6th volume of Koeman's "Atlantes Neerlandici" with additions and facsimiles added, but put them on a separate document. The listing is available under

The reason for this separate listing is that the index probably will be used by different users. Because it is a rather large document we also have cut it in two halves with seperate internet-addresses for those who do not want to wait too long.
I have also taken a summary-census, based on Koeman's part VI and the Dutch Union Catalogue, and marked each entry whether a copy is present in one of the 8 most important map collections. With the separate descriptions of these map collections two listings have been given. One for <1880 copies and one for 1880-1940 copies. Except for the Royal Library where the two have been integrated.
