Darius, you are lucky to be visiting a port city
in Egypt. The Defense Mapping Agency maintains three large
scale nautical charts of Al Iskandariya, as follows:

          56101 1:50,000
          56102 1:20,000
          56103 1:10,000

The older editions seem to have more topographic details
          than newer, expurgated versions.

I have an excellent 1939 edition of British Admiralty
nautical chart 243 @ 1:25,000 that gives outstanding city
details; recommend looking at this item.

Nautical charts, of course, are limited to seaside
information and one will not likely find inland coverage.
