We have been seeing a rising uptake of Global Mapper in academic sectors
all over the world.
Avenza's products for Photoshop and Illustrator are agnostic regarding
any GIS or similar system from which data and imagery would originate
but we do pay attention to what folks are using as a lead-in to the
Adobe finishing environment.
And what we are seeing is that with all its power and functionality
Global Mapper is a strong and very viable alternative to ArcGIS and is
becoming increasing popular in both academic and commercial sectors.
And who can argue with its price point?

Regards

Ted
