Dear WAML Members,

The events of 9/11 were tragic, shocking and distressing. I speak for
the WAML Officers in expressing our sympathy and support for those who
have lost friends or family or who are otherwise suffering.

Despite the horrorable events of last week, the October 3-6, 2001 WAML
meeting in Portland will be held as planned. I know I am looking forward

If you have already registered for the meeting and choose not to travel,
please inform
Elizabeth Winroth, our host in Portland, ASAP. Her email is
