A great exhibit of aerial photographs by Wm. Garnett is being held
currently in San Francisco through May 13. Dramatic, artistic oblique and
vertical shots of rural/wilderness areas primarily in CA, but also AZ,
CO, IL, NM, WA, WV and WI from 1951-1984. Lest you rush over thinking to
pick up a few for your map library, be warned that this is art--with
prices ranging from about $1,500-$2,000 per print. Vision Gallery, 1155
Mission St., S.F. (between 7th & 8th sts., about 2 blocks from Civic
Center BART station), 9AM-6PM Mon-Sat, 415-621-2107.
