I just received some fiche copies of USGS thematic maps.  I have the paper
copies in hand.

The paper copies were received in late December as shipping list 98-27-GM.
The fiche were just received as shipping list 99-0499-M.
The items in question include GQ-1774, HA-735-E, HA-735-F, I-2550, I-2561,
I-2595, I-2625, I-2632.

Why the duplication?
Is this a new direction GPO and the Survey are going?
