This just-opened and rather elaborate database
(http://www.slavevoyages.org/tast/index.faces) has a number of
interactive features, including the capacity to generate maps of the
voyages: http://www.slavevoyages.org/tast/database/search.faces . I
thought this might interest some on this list. The site was developed at
Emory University, with a diverse backing, including the National
Endowment for the Humanities, the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute at Harvard,
and others.
