A quick note:
 
HRH PRINCESS ANNE COMMEMORATES 200 YEARS OF THE BARTHOLOMEW FAMILY
 
On Friday July 11th Princess Anne unveiled a commemorative plaque
in the foyer of the former premises of John Bartholomew & Son LTD
in Duncan Street, Edinburgh, Scotland to mark 200 years of the
Bartholomew family's contribution to cartography. Since being
vacated by us in October 1995 the premises have been converted
to luxury flats by the Burrell Company and the foyer restored
and preserved with a small permanent exhibition about the family
and company.
