We have available to any U. S. library the following preliminary or
field edition Utah 7.5 topographic quadrangle maps in fair to very good
condition. Some of the sheets are black-and-white printed maps with this
notation: “Preliminary edition pending completion of 1:62,500 scale 15
minute maps covering this area.” Other sheets are blueline/blackline
maps with this notation: “This is a copy of a U. S. Geological Survey
manuscript compiled by photogrammetric methods. It does not include
information to be obtained during field completion surveys.”

These maps provide historical documentation for topographic mapping in Utah.
