Job description:
Provide phone support, train dealers and direct customers on our Land
Survey and/or Mapping GPS products. As part of a dynamic customer
focused team, perform failure analysis of GPS systems, and understand
the principles and proper methodology of land surveying and/or GIS
mapping and data maintenance. Will be expected to perform support at
the customer s site or Trimble Support Center.  Requires a BS degree
or equivalent in Geodesy, Survey Engineering, or Geography with a
major in Geographic Information Systems.  3-5+  years experience in
any of the following areas: Land Surveying, GIS Maintenance and
Development which should include GPS experience. Ability to
communicate with both internal and external customers with strong
communication and presentation skills.  Strong computing skills in
the PC environment.  Proven ability to successfully solve customer
problems under adverse conditions. Fluency in languages in addition
to English is definitely an asset. 50% + travel may be required.
