Subject: AMS maps of China
Message-Id: <[log in to unmask]>

Hello Susan,

I have many of the sheets that you requested on MAPS-L. Unfortunately, we
do not have duplicate copies which I would have offered to you. If you are
unable to find any other source closer to you that has these maps, maybe we
can loan our copies to you during our winter interim (mid-Dec. to mid-Jan.).
I am working on getting a large-format xerox machine and if lucky, might have
one available to make copies at the earliest late November.

Here are the maps that we do have:
AMS L531 China NE H7, G5, G7.
AMS L581 China SE all sheets you listed
AMS L582 China SW F47K, F48R, F49C, H49I only

Additionally, we have these AMS series that may be a little too new for your
purposes (late 50's-early 60's, although some of the data was from the 40's):
AMS L522 Inner Mongolia (NL 50-4,5 , NK 49-4)
AMS S509 Indochina (most sheets)
AMS L541 Manchuria (a few sheets)

We don't have L521 or L502.

Let me know if we can help.
Aloha,
Ross Togashi
