Subject: UCLA status and Rookwood

All the UCLA libraries are open except Engineering and Math Sciences, and
Physics. We have reshelved all the books that fell off the floor in 2/3
of Geology/Geophysics. The rest of the stacks are tilting too much. We
will not reshelve until we have an inspection.

We will accept Rookwood requests for areas that are accessible:

A - QE 1 Z (geomorph, geophysics, space physics, journals from major
geological societies)
QE 350 - QE 801 (mineralogy, petrology, geochem, geophys, most of
paleo)

Stacks with materials for these areas are unavailable at least
   through Monday:

         USGS pubs
         CDMG pubs
         regional geology
         mining, mineral resources, petroleum
         water resources pubs
