The U.S. Geological Survey (as well as most government agencies) have
lesson plans for educators on their site. Just do a search for "lesson
plans" on the USGS website and you will get plenty of sources.

Subject: map reading books for 6th-9th graders?

Hi all;

I have a local (NC) middle school teacher looking for books that can
be used to teach 6th-9th graders how to read maps. I'm no familiar
with books for that age group. Could someone recommend 2 or 3 titles?

Thanks
Russell Guy
