The University of Oregon is currently outlining the future growth of its
map, aerial photo, and geospatial collections and we are trying to determine
current standards for access, maintenance and storage of cartographic
collections. We have been consulting the  "Standards for University Map
Collections" produced by the Special Libraries Association Geography and Map
Division in 1987. (Special Publication No. 3).

Does anyone know of any literature or documentation outlining map collection
standards that might be more current? I have looked at various sources
without much success. Any suggestions would be useful.
