The Osher Map Library and Smith Center for Cartographic Education,
University of Southern Maine, Portland, are pleased to announce the
opening of a new exhibition:
 
THE CARTOGRAPHIC CREATION OF NEW ENGLAND
 
curated by Prof. Matthew H. Edney
 
It will be showing in Portland until April 27th, 1997.
