Hi,

My name is Chris Hodge and I write the CyberSites column for Mercator's
World. Several months ago I asked for -- and received -- help in
identifying sites on the Web that might be of interest to the map
community. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who
sent me suggestions.

I am now working on the column for the third issue, and while I try to look
at all the websites mentioned on this list, I continue to welcome comments
and suggestions. It is my hope, however, that the column will become more
than simply a laundry list of interesting sites. I would like to use the
column to explore issues/concerns that are unique to the Internet. To do
this, I will need the help of those in the field.

With MW's permission, I will be happy to e-mail copies of my columns as
they are published to anyone who requests a copy. Your comments and
suggestions and, if necessary, your criticisms, will always be appreciated.
