The California Department of Transportation Publishes a "State Highway Map" but it doesn't appear to be annual. One catalog record in Worldcat says "biennial" but I'm not sure if I believe that. It may be biennial if the State Budget allows, or if they need another print run.

UC Davis has a cataloged 2003 (OCLC # 54348665) map and a soon-to-be cataloged 2005 map that you can borrow from us via ILL.

Feel free to contact me if you can't arrange a loan through the formal ILL system.

On a side note, The California Travel and Tourism Commission, a non-profit organization that worked in partnership with the State from 1998-2003 publishes a tourist road map of California that's titled "California (insert year) Official State Map" You get it as an insert in the CA Visitor's Guide that may be ordered at www.visitcalifornia.com.
