No, actually I'm talking about the maps created in the US by the Office
of Strategic Services, for strategic planning purposes. Many
small-scale topical maps, some sketchy large-scale city plans, maybe
just showing key features or focusing on the surrounding region. These
are generally more like sketch maps than like scientifically projected maps.
