Subject: British Indian topo series indexes

After Chris Thirry spoke at the WAML meeting last week about his
GIS-based series indexes, I thought I'd post links to a couple of my
latest non-GIS indexes for some series you may have that that may be
daunting you.

These are compiled on a platte caree projection (i.e. equally-spaced
lat/long grid)

the old British Indian topo series (covering South Asia as a whole) at:
1:253,440

http://catalogue.nla.gov.au/Record/308241

and 1:63,360 (perfectly readable when printed at A3).

http://catalogue.nla.gov.au/Record/948209

I have also done an index for the 1:126,720 series, which is currently
uncatalogued here.

I am happy to supply blank indexes in AI, WMF, CDR, jpg, etc. formats
upon request.
