     Topic:  "Restructuring the Federal Depository Library
             Program and the Future of Government Information"
 
The Government Publications Librarians of New England (GPLNE)
will hold a special meeting on August 27 to discuss possible
restructuring of the FDLP and the future of government
information.  The Dupont Circle documents and the Depository
Library Council report, "Alternatives for Restructuring the
Depository Library Program," will serve as background for the
discussion.  This will be an opportunity for depository
librarians in the New England region to discuss these issues and
provide collective input to the process.
