Subject: European multiple layer map on line?

One of our faculty members is looking for a European Multiple Layer Map
on line (layers such as population, political, elevation, physical
features, precipitation, climate). Is there anything out there that'd
fit the description?
I'm thinking of something that would look like
http://www.maps-for-free.com/ or like
http://worldmap.harvard.edu/maps/europemap with the different required
layers. TIA.
