Subject: Call for URLs of Map Coll. floor plans

Aloha,

The University of Hawaii Library Map Collection is planning to move into
a larger area sometime in the next year or two. I am therefore interested
in seeing the layout of other map collections to help me plan for our new
facilities.

As Hawaii is a loooong ways away from many of you and funds for travel is
very limited, I'd like to ask all of you who have your Map Collection's
floor plan available on the web, to please provide me the url. Also of
interest would be "virtual views" of your map room if available.

I think a compilation of these urls might be of value to some of you as
well, so if there is enough interest I propose to share this info by
making this url list available thru the Western Assn. of Map Libraries
(WAML) website, or the WAML Information Bulletin.

If you don't have the floor plan up on your webpage yet, but plan to add
it in the near future, please let me know that, too. You may contact me
at the email address shown below. Thank you very much for your time, any
ideas, or contributions to this list!

Mahalo!
Ross
