          There's hundreds of hits on the WEB using SPELEOLOGY as the
          search word. One such search takes you directly into the
          NATIONAL SPELEOLOGICAL SOCIETY homepage where there's a
          lengthy list of members; the organizer of the homepage is
          [log in to unmask] if you can't get into the WEB;
          [not certain about upper/lower case letters of this
          address].

          My understanding is you must be a member of the NSS or other
          caving organizations such as the International Union of
          Speleologists to explore many caves. Speleologists are a
          tight-knit group who are extremely secretive about their
          caves.  - PML
