greetings all;

I have a request for any maps of the volcano Erta Ale, in Ethiopia. It may
also be under Erta'ale or Ertale, or Ertaale. Coordinates are: N 13.60 by E
40.70.

What I am looking for is a topographic map showing the volcano, and what I
need now, is a scanned image of the portion of the map showing it, along
with the map citation.

according to GNIS there is an AMS map in the 250,000 "East Africa" series,
numbered NC 36-08 that should show the volcano. I cannot get the map title
as the GeoNet name server is/may be down (they left a note on this). I
pulled the map no. from their ftp data site.

there are also:

a 100,000 scale map of the region: Geological map of the Erta'Ale Volcanic
Range (Danakil Depression, Ethiopia) OCLC: 6224449.

maps in an atlas or book are also fine as long as we have a citation with
it.
