In late October OCLC plans to implement some enhancements that are
documented in USMARC Format for Bib. Data, Updates 2 & 3.   Not
everything in Updates 2 &  3 are being implemented at this time.  In
addition, there are also some code list changes in this document as well
as some enhancements related to requests from OCLC users.
Implementation will be announced via a log-on Message of the Day.
 
These enhancements are described in Technical Bulletin 227.  The paper
copies have been shipped to libraries.  TB227 is also available on the
web at  http://www.oclc.org/oclc/tb/tb227/frames_man.htm. In addition,
if you have copies of the Tape and Expeort Record Formats you will also
