Hello all,
I want to thank everyone who sent me copies of their map users guides. I
received approximately 30 different publications - they were a great help
in designing a guide for the map collection at UNC Wilmington's Randall
Library. I'm now working on another project and would like some ideas
and input. As may final course requirement in library science at N.C.
Central University, I am exploring topics for my research paper. I want
to focus on GIS and am anxious to know what issues you feel are impacting
GIS or what trends you'd suggest investigating. I am aware of some broad
topics such as availability of data/software, data limitations, access
issues, training opportunities, and sharing of geographic information.
You may e-mail me at my address [log in to unmask] or share your ideas
with the list. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
