Quite a while back I sent an extensive article to The Map Collector folks
about this massive two volume atlas of sea charts, and the fiche product based
on it. I do not know the status of the article, when or if it is to be
published. Contact them, as perhaps they also have a sample set of the fiche.
 
Additional information--the Thornton Sea Atlas on color fiche has been
cataloged at NYPL, and is in RLIN in a save mode, soon to be a regular record.
So watch for it, then all the wonderful libraries who bought the thing can
catalog it
