Hi Robert,

Our map collection has about 300,000 sheets and is open to the public
whenever the library is open. It is staffed about 30 hours a week. The
maps circulate for the most part. The ones that don't circulate are in
locked cases and must be paged when a staff member is present.

I have been asked to ask: Do you know of any relatively large map
collections that are in spaces (i.e. a room in a library) that are both
open to the public and unstaffed?
