Dear Maps-L Subscribers:

I want to share some wonderful news. One of our founders, John Cotter,
created the maps for the newly-published Historical Atlas of Central
America. And a friend of Treaty Oak, Vicki Whitaker, worked with him on
the maps' production. We are so proud that we want everyone to know how
to
get the atlas; so here goes:

Historical Atlas of Central America
by Carolyn Hall and Hector Perez Brignoli
John V. Cotter, Cartographer
ISBN 0-8061-3037-7
University of Oklahoma Press
oupress.com
1-800-627-7377

I understand from OU Press that the web site is undergoing revision this
week and so ordering online should be possible next week. In the
meantime,
the 800-number is recommended. (I don't know yet what the retail price
is;
my apologies.)

Best regards from a jubilant
Tara Shadowen
