*MAGERT'S Map Collection Management Discussion Group *will meet at ALA
Mid-Winter:
        Sunday January 13, 1:30 - 3:30pm
        Marriott Philadelphia, Room 501

Please join us in "open discussion" for identifying issues which our
group should address into the future and for updates about finalizing
our document /Map Collection Security Guidelines/.  Topics will cover
new developments and problems in the selection, acquisition, and
management of maps, geospatial data and other cartographic materials.
Remember, this group invites participation of librarians from all sizes
and types of libraries, from small to research libraries, which maintain
"map collections."
