Subject: Fw: [Calmap] Looking for Sanborn Map of Shasta, CA

  Hello,

I know this is a long shot, but I have a patron who's looking for a copy of
a Sanborn Fire Insurance map for the town of Shasta, now part of Shasta
State Historical Monument. (This is Shasta in Shasta County, not Mount
Shasta City in Siskiyou County.)

I have not been able to locate any reference to Sanborn (or any fire
insurance maps/atlases) for Shasta using WorldCat, MELVYL, or the Union list
of Sanborn Maps. Does anyone know if there was a Sanborn Map or similar fire
insurance map made for Shasta, and if so, where I can get/borrow a copy of
the map?

Thanks,

Kathy Stroud, Map/GIS Librarian
