Map libraries conference set for 2005.

One outcome of the 2004 CUAC meeting, held this past May at the Census
Bureau’s offices in Suitland, MD, is a planned 2005 conference on
changes and challenges facing map libraries and map librarians.
Tentative plans for the conference are as follows:  the conference will
be held at the Library of Congress Madison Building on Thursday and
Friday, May 12 and 13, 2005.  The model for this 2005 conference is an
earlier “Map Libraries in Transition” conference, held at LC in 1993.

More information will be forthcoming.
