Subject: public library map colls & GIS/computer map reference

     Mapsters,

For a panel program I am organizing for ALA in New Orleans, I am
seeking a panel participant from a public library involved in GIS, or
     something approximating it...computer mapping...academic librarians
     need not respond!

If you can refer me to someone, I would be greatful.

The panel will focus on map reference in the public library setting,
and of course, history is well represented, but new technologies in
the public library map room are not. Any interested volunteers?

Please email me directly at [log in to unmask]

Many thanks, Alice Hudson, Map Division,NYPL
