Subject: Scientific investigations map from USGS

------------------
I just received the second map in this "Scientific investigations map"
series from USGS. The maps are strikingly like the misc. investigation
series maps. Does anyone know if the MI series is being replaced with
this SI series?? Is this SI series a new series that will see many maps
in the future???

Example title: Geologic map of the Hebgen Lake quadrangle, Beaverhead,
Madison, and Gallatin counties, Montana, Park and Teton counties,
Wyoming, and Clark and Fremont counties, Idaho
ISBN: 0607967773
OCLC no.: 55995927

Thanks for your help.

Angie
