         Historical German Town (A)
 
The name Otterbein surfaced in two instances, but in a different
context than the one requested. The two references are:
 
Otterbein, town (population 641), Benton Co., W. Ind[iana], 13
mi[nutes] WNW of Lafayette.

Otterbein, Philip William. Born at Dillenburg, Germany, June 4,
1726: died at Baltimore, Md., Nov. 17, 1813. A clergyman of the
German Reformed Church in America. He was the founder of the sect
of the United Brethen in Christ.
