Everybody,

There are some very fine flyover videos to be found at the second link
below. The grandeur reminds me of motion pictures photographed in Ultra
Panavision 70 or some such gigantic screen process. It's a 'rilly big
shoe', as Ed Sullivan would say.

Hey all,

Bill Bowen, formerly of our department and an excellent
cartographer has a lot of time on his hands and he's been
producing some truly outstanding "flyover" videos of various
parts of the world.  Some of the best work involves
California, but there are other places that are
topographically interesting.  I urge you to take a look at
