                [posted to lismaps, MapHist, Maps-L]

The English text for the 'Call for Papers' for the 18th International
Conference on the History of Cartography (Athens, 11-16 July 1999) has
been posted to the History of Cartography homepage [select
     'Conferences'].

The registration and reservation forms were not included [far beyond
this webmaster's powers!]. Printed copies are in the post and should
shortly be reaching all those who asked for them.

Details are given on the webpage of the procedure for obtaining a
printed copy of the 'Call' if you now want one. As it's August,
though, please expect an extended delay.
