Subject: USGS Map Librarian Position Available

Everyone,

Cheryl Sund, the Map Librarian at the USGS Library in Denver, has retired.
I am going to miss her. She has done a great job over the years
and was one of the first map librarians I ever met.

Miraculously, the feds have decided to fill her position. The job is now
posted at:

It remains open until October 13.

HOWEVER, you must be a current or former federal government employee to
apply, or have special status (military or peace corp vet, etc.).

The job at the Fed Center here in Denver is challanging and exciting. I
hope they get a large pool of applicants. The Denver area is a great
place to live and work!
