Hello Anthony,

I recently received my MLS degree from SUNY Buffalo. I
was in the process of searching for a Graduate program
in Geography with an emphasis on GIS after I
graduated. I've since left thoughts of going to
graduate school on the back burners for the moment, I
need a break, 6 years of undergrad and then grad
school was enough for now, I need a small break.

Anyway, I came across a program at the University of
Maryland, College Park that has a joint M.A./M.L.S.
Master of Arts in Geography and Master of Library
Science degree.

If I had known about this program earlier this would
have been my first choice for a Master's education. I
don't know anyone in the program, but it sounds like
it would be great, especially for those of us
intersted in Map Librarianship or GIS in Libraries,
etc...

Here's the URL for the Geogrpahy/Library Information
Systems Program:
http://www.gradschool.umd.edu/catalog/programs/GELS.html

Good luck in your search.
