The MAPublisher plugin for Illustrator (www.mapublisher.com) will allow
a geospatial PDF or GeoPDF to be opened in Illustrator while retaining
all layers, attributes and geo-referencing. Then any or all layers, with
their attributes can be exported to a number of GIS formats including
shapefiles and dxf, dwg etc.
