WE have a 1895 atlas, that is 'falling apart' .. can anyone advise on the
best 'preservation' system without high cost. The owner is prepared to
lend it to the University long-term if it will get a suitable location.
It may be suffering from its current location in a wood-heated house.

Can one hold the pages together without imposing an 'alien' binding
system ?
