You might want to direct them to the EBAY online auction site
(www.ebay.com).  Have them go to the main page and then click on
collectibles and then on maps/atlas.  Right now, as of this moment,
there are 596 maps listed.  Sooner or later (probably sooner)
there will be a world map from 1940 or thereabouts.  I've found some
interesting maps that I've added to the library's collection.  Everything
from oil company oil maps to 17th century material and so on.  Make
certain they read all of the information, caveat emptor's and such.  It
can be a valuable resource.
