The National Library of Australia is pleased to announce that is has
digitised

"Die Weltkarte des Pierre Desceliers von 1553"

as published in 1924 in a 12-section monochrome facsimile by Eugen
Oberhummer / Geographische Gesellschaft in Wien.

The library recently purchased a mint condition copy, #12, of this rare
facsimile which was issued in a mere 90 copies.

The complete 16 sheets (2 doublesided, so 18 scans in total) will be
viewable at our catalogue record, if not this afternoon, then by
tomorrow morning at the latest.
