Friends,

A couple of years ago, a colleague kindly sent me a copy of an article that
was originally published in a journal of the Canadian map curator community,
which discussed an early (pre-colonial era) cartographic survey of the then
Kingdom of Benin, West Africa. Unfortunately, I have mislaid the copy I was
sent and, with advanced senility setting in rapidly, I am embarrassed to say
that I can neither remember the author's name nor the name or edition of the
publication that the article appeared in. Nor can I remember who it was who
sent it to me! Given the above very incomplete information, can anybody out
there help me identify the article concerned?

Many thanks
Darius
