        The NorthEast Map Organization (NEMO) will holds its annual meeting on
Thursday/Friday, June 6-7, 1996, at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute,
Quissett Campus, Woods Hole, MA (Cape Cod).
 
        The program is as follows:
 
Thursday, June 6
 
11:00 - 1:30    Registration
 
1:30 - 3:00     Amazing Journeys: The Imaginative Mapping of Jules Verne

3:30 - 5:00     Weather Satellite Images in the Classroom: A Teaching Tool

6:30 - 7:30     Poster Session, Demonstrations, Reception (cash bar)

NOTE:  Professional Development Points (PDP) are available from the University
of Massachusetts Dartmouth.  PDP fee per registrant is $1.  One point will be
awarded per session, seven (7) points for the entire conference.  If you want
credits, please add the appropriate fee to the registration form.
 
Registration fee:  $60 (includes: registration, dinner, breakfast, and NEMO
        membership, 1996-1997).
 
        NEMO membership only:  $10.00
