The Western Mapping Center of the U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park, CA is
seeking a professional to serve as Research Branch Chief. In this new position,
you will be responsible for research, development, geographic applications and
computer management for the Center. Qualified candidates will have a degree in
Cartography, Geography, Physical Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related
field or a combination of related education and experience. You also need to
have at least one year of experience which demonstrates your ability to lead an
organization and implement mapping programs. Starting salary $81,272 plus
