AN INVITATION:
You are invited to the 25th Annual Conference of the Australian Map
Circle, at Ormond College, the University of Melbourne, Australia.
The conference program encompasses a variety of activities,
including papers, visits to mapping and related organizations in
Melbourne, an excursion, and the conference dinner. It provides an
opportunity for those with a professional involvement in maps and
those with a personal fascination in maps to meet and enjoy their
common interest.

SUNDAY 2 FEBRUARY
6:00 onwards - Welcoming BBQ & registration at Ormond College.
MONDAY 3 FEBRUARY
8:30 onwards - registration.
9:00 to 12:30 - Conference Opening and 4 Papers
12:30 to 1:30 - Lunch
2:00 to 5:00 - Visits: SLV, Meteorology, RMIT
TUESDAY 4 FEBRUARY
9:00 to 12:00 - Papers
12:30 to 1:30 - Lunch at Royal Botanic Gardens
1:30 to 2:30 - Tour of Royal Botanic Gardens
2:30 to 5:30 - Guided tour: "Urban Landscapes of Melbourne".
7:00 (for 7:30) - Conference Dinner, at University House, the
University of Melbourne
WEDNESDAY 5 FEBRUARY
9:00 to 12:00 - Papers
12:00 to 1:00 - Lunch
1:15 to 2:30 - AMC AGM
2:45 to 4:00 - Visit: Geomatics dept, MelbUni
4:30 - Closing function

ACCOMMODATION & CAR PARKING:
Accommodation is available at the conference venue, Ormond College,
and can be booked when you register. A single room is $43 per night,
including breakfast. Free car parking is available at Ormond College
for conference delegates.
MEALS:
The conference fees include morning tea and lunch each day.
Accommodation includes breakfast for those staying at Ormond College.
The conference dinner is on Tuesday evening, and on other evenings
dinner will be available at University House, or it is less than ten
minutes walk to Melbourne's famous Lygon Street, where there are
numerous restaurants.
