Hi,

I'm writing to make sure you know about the summer institute that will
be offered here in NYC this June, and to ask you to share this
information with anyone who might be interested in these one-week
courses. I'm also happy to report that we've arranged for reasonably
priced accommodations for registered participants, with information
available at

www.cuepisummer.org/faq.

The Epidemiology and Population Health Summer Institute at Columbia
University (EPIC), from June 6-July 1, will provide public health and
other professionals and students a unique opportunity to enroll in
focused, one-week-long summer courses. Descriptions of the 28 courses
cover topics such as genetic epidemiology, epidemiologic analysis using
SAS, multilevel modeling, and family-based study designs. The courses
are open to anyone, including students and professionals in the
biological sciences, medicine, nursing, dentistry, public health, and
social sciences. Courses are taught by faculty from the Epidemiology
Department and from the rest of the University. Visit the EPIC website at

www.cuepisummer.org/registration

for more details about courses and registration - the registration
deadline is coming up on May 1. It would be helpful if you can forward
the EPIC flier, attached, to anyone who might be interested, be it at CU
or elsewhere. If you're willing to distribute flyers at an upcoming
conference or other event please let me know, and I'll be happy to send
you color copies.

I hope you'll forgive the mass e-mail and any duplication. Please let me
know if you have any questions, or contact [log in to unmask]

Best regards,
Gina Lovasi
EPIC co-director
