The Texas Map Society will be holding its next semi-annual meeting this
Saturday October 6 at the University of Texas at Arlington Central Library
(in Arlington, Texas, between Dallas and Fort Worth).   There will be a
reception Friday night at the DeGoyler Special Collections Library at SMU to
preview an upcoming exhibit on World War II maps.

The TMS meeting this year features five lectures by outstanding map scholars
and collectors.  For more information on the program and speakers,
